Is a refund possible?

I’m sorry, but refunds are not possible for custom made figures and orders. Due to the personalized nature of these items, they are non-refundable. It’s important to ensure that all details and specifications are communicated clearly before placing your order to ensure your satisfaction.

How do you ship?

With DHL and exclusively with insured shipping.

What if something gets broken during shipping?

I take great care in packing all figures to minimize the risk of damage during shipping. While it’s rare, if something does happen to break, it’s the shipping company’s responsibility.

Fortunately, in most cases, broken pieces can be easily repaired with glue or replaced by reprinting them quickly. I understand it can be frustrating, but I’ll work with you to find a solution and ensure your satisfaction.

How do you ship the figures?

To ensure the safe delivery of your figures, I usually ship them in separate parts. This allows for better packaging and reduces the risk of any breakage. Don’t worry, assembling the figures is super easy and self-explanatory.

I take extra precautions to protect the figures during shipping. Each part is carefully wrapped with bubble wrap, bubble cushions, and protective packaging to prevent any damage from external forces. For particularly fragile parts, I provide an additional box to ensure their safety. You can trust that your figures will arrive in excellent condition.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, I ship worldwide.

I have made changes to my character since the beginning of the order. Can these still be included?

Before the start:

If I have not started yet, this is certainly possible.

However, if this means extra work, i.e. more details, more difficult pose, and so on price can change.

After the start:

Once the project has started and adjustments are requested, it can be more difficult to make significant changes. This is because everything, including the clothes and details, is tailored to the specific pose of the figure. If a complete pose change is required, it would involve readjusting all the elements, which can be a time-consuming process.

However, smaller modifications such as adding a flower to the hair or making minor adjustments to the pose are generally feasible. It’s important to note that these changes may incur additional costs, as they would require extra working time and effort on my part.

If you have any specific changes in mind, let me know, and we can discuss the feasibility and any associated cost adjustments.

Do I get to see intermediate steps? I am afraid that my character will look completely different afterwards.

Of course.

There are always a few WIPs, but especially a final presentation of the 3D model before it is prepared for printing to ensure that everything fit.

To ensure the best results, I kindly request that you provide clear and easily recognizable references. This includes references that showcase all the essential aspects of your character, including colors, patterns, and any specific details you’d like to see in the final figure. Your input is vital in ensuring that your character looks just as you envision.

What if I notice something missing after printing?

Before your figure is printed, I will share the final design with you for approval. This gives you the opportunity to review the figure and ensure that everything is as you envisioned. If you notice any details that may have been overlooked or missed, please let me know at this stage.

However, once the figure is printed, certain modifications become more challenging. Therefore, changes to items directly on the figure, such as intricate attachments or modifications, may be more difficult to accommodate after printing.

What if the colors are not exactly right?

I strive to match the colors as closely as possible based on the pictures you provide.

If the colors in the pictures are not exactly right, I will do my best to match them as closely as possible based on the information provided. If you have specific color requirements or reference images that show the correct colors, please include them to ensure the best possible outcome.

In cases where the character is heavily staged, shaded, or has lighting effects that may alter the colors, it would be helpful to provide additional reference images that showcase the character in a more neutral and well-lit environment. This will assist me in accurately capturing the intended colors and details of the figure.

My character contains elaborate patterns, is that possible?

Yes, incorporating elaborate patterns into your character is possible to some extent. However, if the patterns are complex and include digital effects or specific textures, it may be challenging to replicate them exactly in the physical figure.

In such cases, it’s best to discuss the patterns with me directly. We can assess the feasibility and discuss possible alternatives or adjustments to ensure the best possible representation of the patterns in the final figure.

Are floating poses possible?

Yes, with transparent rods. You have to accept this if you want the figure to float.

Can you print transparent parts?

Yes is possible.

Can I paint my figure myself?

Certainly! You have the option to paint your figure yourself. Whether it’s a commissioned piece or one of my own models, I can provide the printed parts for you to paint according to your preferences.

Once the figure is printed, I will send it to you in separate parts, allowing you to apply your own artistic touch and bring it to life with your chosen colors and techniques. This gives you the freedom to personalize the figure and make it truly unique.

Will the figure be printed in color?

No, the figures will not be printed in color. Occasionally, I may showcase 3D rendered images of colored figures for presentation purposes. However, the actual printing is done in white material.

How long do you need for my figure?

The time required to complete your figure can vary depending on various factors. As a general guideline, I usually estimate a timeframe of around 2 months for figures that require painting, and a shorter timeframe of approximately 1 month for figures without painting.

However, it’s important to note that the actual duration may be influenced by the complexity of the figure and the number of printing processes involved. For example, if your figure is more intricate or requires multiple printing stages, it may take longer to complete.

In the case of couple figures or more complex projects, the timeline might be extended further. Rest assured that I always strive to work efficiently and deliver your figure in a timely manner.

For smaller figures like chibis or other petite designs, the timeframe is typically shorter, averaging around 1 month.

When I buy a figure, do I get the 3D model or the print file as well?

No.
You will receive what you order. Of course, you can also purchase the 3D model of your figurine or the printing file.
In this case, it is important for me to know whether it is for personal use or for commercial purposes.

What do I need to know about pricing?

Important for the pricing is the effort, both in modeling / sculpting as well as painting (should this be desired). In addition, there is the preparation for printing, that is, cutting, hollowing and finishing the figure for printing. The printing time and the printing processes. Some figures need more than one printing process, depending on the size, volume or number of parts. The finishing of the parts to be done afterwards. Filing, touching up edges and also closing the “print holes”. Each of these stages, takes hours to days, depending on the level of detail and effort.

How long does such a print take?

The printing time can vary depending on the complexity and size of the figure. Typically, a 19 cm figure takes about 26 hours to print. However, if the figure is large or requires multiple printings due to size limitations, the printing time may increase.

What does this mean for the price?

These various factors and considerations can impact the pricing of the custom figures. Here’s a summary of how certain aspects can affect the price:

1. Volume and complexity: Figures with voluminous elements like long hair or dresses, as well as intricate details, require additional time and effort during the modeling stage.
2. Armors: Designing complex armor patterns involves multiple stages and can require more time and effort.
3. Asymmetry: Figures with asymmetrical elements, such as varying accessories or features, may require extra modeling time.
4. Detailed painting: Intricate details, tattoos, or color gradients can increase the complexity of the painting process.
5. Fantasy creatures/animal characters: Custom designs for unique creatures or animals may involve creating entirely new models, resulting in additional customization and complexity.
6. Unique custom styles: If you have a specific custom style in mind that deviates significantly from standard designs, it may require extra time and effort.
7. Wings: Creating wings, especially with intricate feather details, can be incredibly time-consuming. The more realistic they are intended to be, the longer they take to complete. Additionally, larger wings can require a significant amount of materials.
8. Poses: Certain poses, such as sitting poses, can be more challenging to model compared to standing poses.
9. Changes, additions, and special shapes: Any specific modifications or additional elements beyond the standard design may require additional time and effort.

But what is included in the starting price (3D Model)?

The starting price for the 3D model includes the following:

1. Simple standing pose: The figure will be designed in a basic standing pose without complex or dynamic movements.

2. Hair up to shoulder: The hairstyle will be kept relatively simple, with hair length up to the shoulder.

3. “Normal” body shapes: The figure will be modeled with standard body proportions and shapes.

4. Simple to normal clothing that fits tightly to the body: The clothing for the figure will be designed to fit closely to the body, with a moderate level of complexity.

5. Normal round base: The figure will come with a standard round base.

It’s important to note that the pricing for painting, printing, and print preparation is separate and will be determined based on the specific requirements and complexity of your project.

Yes.

Do you also offer cutting for printing?  

Yes, I offer cutting services for 3D printing. Cutting the 3D model into smaller parts can be beneficial for several reasons. It allows for easier printing and assembly, reduces the risk of print failures, and enables the use of supports only where necessary. Additionally, cutting the model can help optimize printing time and cost.

If you prefer to have your 3D model cut for printing, simply let me know, and I will ensure that it is prepared accordingly.

Is it still possible to change the model after cutting?  

As soon as the model has been cut for printing, changes are no longer possible. The cuts are precisely set and fit exactly into each other, a change to the model can mean that I have to make them completely new.

I show you your model in any case BEFORE the cutting, changes and wishes you can mention at this point.

What am I allowed to do with the model?  

It varies.

If you buy the 3D model with a private license, you are allowed to use it only for yourself and not to give it to others.

You can also buy it with a commercial license. This depends on what you want to use the model for. For example, reselling prints, providing the 3D file to your community, or even if you want to use it for promotional things on your website.

How is the final price calculated?

1.The creation of the model and the effort related to it.
2.Cutting for printing, also here is calculated according to effort. Small / simple figures usually need fewer cuts and therefore turn out cheaper.
